Safety is a team effort and everyone’s responsibility. Years ago businesses adopted volunteer standards, rules and instructions relating to accident prevention. In 1990 the U.S. Government made these standards law now known as OSHA or Occupational Safety and Health Act. OSHA is designed to correct physical hazards of a job. Safety rules are the result of someone’s misfortune.
